These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through the CALASSI online store and the use of this website.
By placing an order through this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
ABOUT CALASSI
CALASSI creates collectible porcelain wine vessels and related objects and accessories.
The vessels are designed in relation to individual wines and are handcrafted in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The CALASSI online store is operated by the legal entity identified in our Legal Notice.
PRODUCTS
We make every reasonable effort to present our products accurately, including their dimensions, materials, colours, finishes and other characteristics.
CALASSI vessels are handcrafted. Small variations in dimensions, form, surface, glaze, colour, glaze transitions and other details are inherent to the making process.
These variations are part of the individual character of each piece and do not, by themselves, constitute a defect.
Product photographs are intended to represent the products as accurately as possible. However, colours and surface effects may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and the display settings of your device.
LIMITED & NUMBERED EDITIONS
Certain CALASSI vessels are produced in limited, numbered editions.
Where a product belongs to a numbered edition, this will be indicated on the relevant product page.
Unless a specific edition number is expressly offered for selection or confirmed to you, purchasing from a numbered edition does not guarantee a particular number.
The handmade nature of the collection means that no two pieces are expected to be completely identical.
AVAILABILITY
Products may be offered as in stock, pre-order, or otherwise subject to a stated production period.
Availability displayed on the website may change.
If, exceptionally, we are unable to fulfil an order after it has been placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate solution, including reimbursement where required.
PRE-ORDERS
A product marked Pre-order is not ready for immediate dispatch.
A pre-order reserves a piece from an upcoming CALASSI production cycle.
Our current estimated production period for pre-order pieces is approximately 4 weeks before dispatch, unless a different period is stated on the relevant product page.
This period is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date. Because every CALASSI vessel is made by hand, production times may occasionally vary.
The production period is separate from the courier transit time.
If a significant change affects the expected production period of your order, we will contact you.
Your applicable statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights are not excluded merely because a standard product was purchased on pre-order.
BESPOKE & PERSONALISED PRODUCTS
From time to time, CALASSI may accept commissions for bespoke or personalised products.
The specifications, price, estimated production time and other relevant conditions for such work may be agreed separately.
Products made specifically to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may be subject to different cancellation and return rights where permitted by applicable law.
Where such an exception applies, this will be communicated before the order is placed or confirmed.
PRICES
Product prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the store or market through which you are shopping.
Where applicable, VAT or other taxes will be displayed or included in accordance with the rules applying to the relevant transaction.
Shipping charges and any other applicable charges will be shown before you complete your order.
For deliveries outside the European Union, additional import duties, local taxes or customs charges may be imposed by the destination country. Please see our Shipping & Delivery Policy for further information.
PLACING AN ORDER
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
You will receive an electronic confirmation after placing your order.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including an obvious pricing or technical error, suspected fraudulent activity, inability to fulfil the order or other circumstances permitted by law.
If payment has already been collected for an order that we cannot fulfil, the applicable amount will be reimbursed.
PAYMENT
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Payments are processed through the payment providers made available through our online store.
CALASSI does not receive or store complete payment-card details where these are handled directly by the relevant payment provider.
Your payment may be subject to additional security or authorisation checks by your bank or payment provider.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Orders are shipped from Sofia, Bulgaria.
Dispatch times depend on product availability. In-stock products and pre-order products have different preparation periods.
Estimated shipping times, shipping charges, customs information, tracking and other delivery conditions are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees where delays result from customs, courier operations, weather, force majeure or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Eligible returns, statutory withdrawal rights, refunds, damaged products and other return-related matters are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory statutory rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods.
CARE & USE
CALASSI vessels are functional handcrafted porcelain objects and should be handled and maintained according to the care instructions provided with the product and on our Care page.
Improper handling, accidental impact, abrasive cleaning, thermal shock or use contrary to the supplied care instructions may damage the product.
This does not affect your rights in relation to a product that was defective or non-conforming when supplied.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The CALASSI name, identity, vessel designs, original imagery, texts, graphics, films, drawings, methodology, visual materials and other original content appearing on this website are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Unless expressly authorised, website content may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, commercially exploited, modified or used to create derivative commercial material.
Purchase of a CALASSI product does not transfer intellectual-property rights in the design of the product.
Nothing in this provision restricts uses that are expressly permitted by applicable law.
WEBSITE INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on this website accurate and current.
Occasionally, information may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or technical errors, including information relating to price, availability or product descriptions.
Where an obvious error affects an order, we will contact you and handle the matter in accordance with applicable law.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our website may rely on third-party services for functions including payments, delivery, analytics and other technical operations.
Links to external websites may also occasionally be provided for information or convenience.
CALASSI is not responsible for the content or independent practices of third-party websites that we do not operate.
LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer-protection law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CALASSI is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by misuse of a product contrary to its intended purpose or supplied care instructions.
FORCE MAJEURE
We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, customs delays, strikes, governmental measures, war, civil disturbance, epidemic or pandemic events, utility failures or significant disruption affecting suppliers or production.
Where such circumstances materially affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to communicate with you and minimise the impact.

Personal information provided through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.
The Terms applicable to your purchase are generally those in effect when your order is placed, subject to mandatory law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating CALASSI, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections available to you under the law of your country of residence where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising rights regarding jurisdiction or dispute resolution that cannot legally be waived.
